about next level
Philosophy
At Next Level Summer Academy, we strive to build life skills, sports abilities, and self-confidence. We aim to nurture and develop good habits, a positive attitude, and great moral character in all of our campers.
Staff
Next Level staff are extraordinary people who are diverse, vibrant, fun and relatable. They are unique because they must not only meet the needs of our campers and make sure each child is having an amazing time, but must also possess advanced skills or professional expertise in one of our specialty program areas. They are the people your child will come home talking about.

We are proud to maintain an overall staff-to-camper ratio of better than 1 to 5—one of the lowest in the industry—to provide your child with personal, 24/7 supervision. Our staff are carefully chosen, well-trained, and responsible. Our extensive training exceeds industry standards and fully equips each staff member for the summer ahead.

Facilities
We are located 90 minutes from NYC, and nestled upon a hill among 550 acres of lush Connecticut countryside. The campus is located between the Appalachian Trail and the Housatonic River, providing an undeniably beautiful backdrop for the Kent experience.

South Kent offers campers first-class facilities including NHL Grade Ice Service, Several sports fields including Farr field (turf) and Brown Gymnasium.
Health and Safety
Our Health Center is staffed by a registered nurse and/or athletic trainers living at camp. Our nurse treats any camper's first aid issues and takes care of administering medicine.
